  1. Well, that seals it then: all the renovation plans I have for the house we're moving into are OUT … and I'm happy to hear that because it means we're not going end up with a boring sterile show home πŸŽ‰.

  2. Painting your ceiling, walls and trim the same color/same paint is called landlord special.

It's called "Landlord Special" because it is so lazy and cheapest way to paint. Just cover and tape off the windows, doors and floors and spray anyway.

No! Ignore these kinds of videos – go to the library and borrow books by well known for decades and decades-high end designers found in Architectural Digest and not just the latest issues-go back as far as you want because it won't be "trendy" it will be timeless and you'll learn about great design.

  3. I always laugh at these. I just watched 3 shorts in a row telling me what was "in" or "out" in 2026. Two said green was "in", this one said it was "out". One said natural and neutral were out, one said neutrals were the new trend, this one said neutrals are in, but only in certain shades. Ridiculous. How about they all p*ss right off and stop telling us how to think, dress, decorate and live? Sounds like that's what's "in" to me.

  4. Decorate what makes YOU happy!
If you love Farmhouse go for it.
If you love vintage thrifted decor, do that!! YOU live in your house.

  5. Green is in and will always be in. It’s a beautiful earth toned neutral with a variety of different shades. It’s one of the few major colors that connect us to the outdoors and natures beauty that humans crave! Also, white trim is timeless! That will never go out of style. I’m pretty sure this is some AI β€œbot” crap trying to adapt and please humans.πŸ™„

  6. don't like chocolate and walnut. Wood is okay but not too much. I never liked the trendy gray, blue or green anyway. Just timeless light, bright, yet cosy, warm and inviting.
