I see welds and what looks like rub marks from the brake / shift housing.
Not sure what more specifically you are referring to.
Sold a tremendous number of marlins over the year. Really can’t recall a frame warranty on one ever.
That being said. It’s a mtn bike style bike for paved surfaces and very light off road duty. Much better off going to a Roscoe if you are going to really use it as a mtn bike.
