Hello!
On sunday I decided to wax my chain so I bought a new chain, degreased my transmission as good as I can with MucOff degreaser but this morning I noticed this sound! I disengaged the v brakes so they definitely aren't touching.
I suppose that I accidently degreased the freehub too causing this sound? I can go on sunday to show the bike to the mechanic but till then is it safe to ride? (around 12 km trip pr day)

I don’t think it’s possible to degrease the wheel bearings unless they’re already busted. This is something else, I’d say.
Sounds crunchy, the free hub assembly and potentially the hubs bearings have been hit by the degreaser as well so that definitely needs a service. Probably shouldn’t ride it if the bearings are grinding in place, it could pit the surfaces and make the wheel useless. I did this once, my wheel sounded just like that
