The team at lauf designed the perfect bike for where I ride. The seigla floats across Nebraska gravel with ease, its such a comfortable ride. I knew I had to pull the trigger when they released my favorite color a few months back!

Coming from a rigid fork road Bike with only 38 mm tire clearance, I can’t believe how smooth and FAST this thing is. I laughed out loud at some points of these first few rides. A few examples would be flying down a familiar paved road going just as fast as I do with my skinny tires. 🤯 And plowing full speed through what I used to avoid on the gravel.

My wrists and back love the front suspension. Having a career that requires tons of manual labor, somedays I would look at the road bike. My legs would be ready to ride but the rest of me wouldn’t😂. It took that away. A career change is next on the list.

Here’s to new beginnings, ride on yall!!

  1. Looks great! Every time I see someone post their Seigla on here I regret just a tiny bit that I went with black to save just a few bucks

Very classic look – the mud will accent it well.

Look almost like PEI Canda dirt.

I looked at Lauf before going a different direction but I always love reading someone loving their decision and investment. And having really dove into the Lauf Seigla in my decision tree, I can really appreciate it. Hope it gives you a freak ton of fantastic miles.

  4. The new red looks like a great color! Lauf is going to sell so many Seiglas with everyone moving to MTB tires.

  5. I really need to try one of these out. Seen plenty in person, but just havent had the chance to throw a leg over one. What size tire did you settle on?

  6. Haven’t seen that red before, looks sharp!

I’ve had my Seigla for a few years and its my favorite bike. Enjoy it!

Damn. Cars are going to pull over thinking you are headed to a fire. Lauf is such an underappreciated brand. I stopped worrying about buyers remorse after the first five minutes on gravel.

  8. As a fellow seigla owner, which tire and size did you end up with? I want to run something similar.

  9. What bars are you running? And congrats on the new bike! I think my next bike is going to be a Seigla.

Really sharp looking. Curious if those handle bars are stock? So much angle to the drops

I thought I recognized those Nebraska hills. 😁 I’m from Indiana but I’ve ridden the Solstice in Beatrice four times (going back for #5 this summer) and Gravel Worlds 150 a few years ago. Love, love, love those roads!

Your new rig is beautiful! Here’s to many miles of smiles 🥳
