Bas Tietema and Josse Wester believed they would be going to the 2026 Tour de France simply because they had signed Dylan Groenewegen. However, the way they handled this signing could be the reason why Unibet Rose Rockets won’t be in the Grand Bouclé with Pogacar, Vingegaard, or Evenepoel…

  1. I can think of an Iberian race in early August that suits them far better anyway, some even call it the 4th Grand Tour. There they will even get to see the famous Yellow fluro up close.

  2. So lovely to have you back. I swear you show a whole world behind the scenes that you just don’t get anywhere else. Oh and the whimsical music is finally back 😂🫶🏻

  3. There is no proof that Groenewegen did not contact Jayco about his wish for a move. I feel like your whole video is just based on speculation, instead of actually providing evidence. Interesting video though

  4. ⚡️Does anybody care that stupid is what stupid does⁉️ havn’t thought of this team since baden cooke and the question mark jerseys❓of the 2007 tdf and such🔥

  5. Big loss for the tour. Best kit and bike livery by a mile. Plus their pizza video last year was an entertaining stunt. Must be something in it for them to refuse them given all the attention they would generate with a younger cycling audience.

  6. If what the Rockets have done is illegal, then majority of teams in world pro cycling are also guilty, 2024,25 have shiwn the contracts are not worth the paper they are writen on, both teams must if signed off on what happened, so whos reporting a crime here, certainly none of the teams are

  7. Why would they even publish all this without contacting Dylans team? They might be new to the pro cycling world, but they are not stupid. They have professionals working to keep them away from stuff like this to happen. Go on tho.

  8. Another couple of controversial things you did not mentioned in your video were, Why being basically a dutch team, it was enrolled at UCI as a French team? and the hiring of Marcel Kittel as a sprint coach. Were not they big mistakes as well?

  9. Teams were already speaking to riders in the 2025 off-season to join their team in 2027. The only interesting think about the Groenewegen case is that he made contact and entered discussions with Unibet before informing his manager.

  10. The rule you base this entire theory on is only valid for signing riders before their contracts run out (like RB signed Evenepoel). Groenewegen had a contract until the end of 2025 so he is allowed to talk to teams about contracts after that date, jut like any other rider. Even if he had to notify Jayco, you have no proof of him not doing it. Also these probably weren't the reasons for not giving them a wildcard, it is far more likely that ASO didn't like the Unibet sponsorship or the fact that a social media focused team could take away from their own social media engagement.
