  1. I think black in this case. There’s already a lot going on visually with the mismatched color frame and fork.

Imagine gum walls on your car too? the bike looks more minimal and clean with less colors.

  3. I’d probably go tanwall, but then I’d need to change the seat and bar tape to a brown or tan also. Without any other changes, on this bike, black.

  4. I went tan wall on my wolverine because the size I wanted (650×50) had no other options. So I would totally get the black ones. Edit whoa ! You have a front derailleur on that. How did you manage that ! There’s no cable stop makes me think there’s hope for old ass smoothie to run a 2x

  5. Black because the tan walls will turn black anyway. Unless they are real ‘gum’ wall tires, in which case go for that.

Not gonna lie, I tried swiping the picture to look for the comparison picture. Took me far to long to realise it was one picture with both options.
Anyways, I’m tired, and ready for a nap!

  7. I’m an avid tan wall tire guy… but the black is looking really clean here. It pains me to admit that.

  8. Tan walls start to show threads & look ugly before your tread is worn out. I’m going back to all black tires.

With that said, tan walls & black accents are attractive on that color frame.
