  1. It is so difficult to buy wider road tyres everywhere, this is the worse issue to wider road tyres. I've been switched to gravel bike just so i can choose any wider tyre but it's just difficult to get, so far i can get 32mm pro one and sworks mondo, that's all i can get beyond 30mm

  2. I used 28 rear tyre today to ride to work at 80 psi. Previously I used 25mm at 90 psi. I didn't notice much difference except a bit more grip in the woods. Certainly not more comfortable.

  3. Any updates regarding this topic?
After all we all know the condition of our indian roads 🙂
All i want to ask is whether thicker tyres become a large obstruction when trying to gain high speeds or not?
I recently watched a gcn video which did shed some light upon this topic but the crux of the matter wasn't clear yet. How much of a hindrance would fatter tyres like the 35mm ones create on a road bike when pacing at full throttle? Would i in a race loose to a 28mm one?

  4. Currently I have 25c on my Giant OCR3 bike. I have an old pair of 38c tires and I put on the rims and the rims turn but the tires rub on the frame. I just ordered a set of 35c and I'm assuming they will work since the 38c almost were OK.

  5. My experience. I had 28 mm . It was fast comfortable to ride and less tired. But main problem puncture. Then I moved to 36 mm don't ask me I feel like I am always climbing hill my average speed dropped by 3 to 4 km and long rides I am not able to go before 100km was easy now even 50km is tough. So think and decide. Initially i used continental sports it was puncture free for 3k km. Then I moved to vittoria rubino pro. Within 300 km had 4 puncture. So the pros and cons are very huge so decide accordingly. To move to 28mm tubeless each tyre approx we need 10k which is huge. So thinking to go back from 36mm to 28 mm continental sports or grand sports and hope for luck on puncture especially in long rides

  6. Thinner the tyre the faster it is.Please don't misguide your audience. With thinning of the tyre rolling resistance acts with its minimalistic approach.
