A car wash with brushes is perfectly fine for your car, unless you're a freak who washes every day of the week. Paint swirls are normal even if you hand wash and dry, the only solution is to not drive your car and cover it in bubble wrap.
How about the dry muds? Bugs? Yes, it seems to work perfectly works but only for the clean and dusty cars. One of my friends is getting one from China and wants to start his own car wash business but it's not easy You still need people to clean the inside of your car and we also know how the chinese materials are fragile!!
