Quick research told me this bike is more of a hybrid commuter. I live in Arizona where the terrain on the trails is pretty challenging.
I've not been on the trails for over a year. I'll be riding around town for a couple months just to build up stamina again. So I would consider a hybrid bike and upgrade later.
However, given my budget, 400 is a lot for a bike that I will have to swap out in a couple months. Would I be able to resell this one for close to 400?

Yes its overpriced
For the sake of comparison, my last bike was a basic entry level Trek 820 from 2013. Well it was slower to keep up with other riders, I was very happy with it as a multipurpose bike. Still have it, but it’s in storage in another state.
