I’ve got this trek backpacking bike. I want to put this origin front rack onto it. Yet the front of the bike doesn’t have a hole to allow any fastener to go through. Has anyone done their own modifications to either of the products and did it work? Would creating some other type of system securing it to housing work as well? If anyone’s got any suggestions please let me know. Thank you

I think your fork has cargo cage bolts, use those if you want to carry a load up front, don’t mess with carbon forks, only use them as designed
With no point to mount at the fork crown the front rack options aren’t as many. You could get a [Ruth Works](https://www.ruthworkssf.com/) bag up front in place of the rack and get some [Widefoot](https://widefoot.com/shop/) cages for the fork.
