Saw 50° on the forecast and thought, “perfect gravel day.”
Completely forgot about freeze/thaw. The trail turned into a leg-day simulator and my Gorilla Monsoon is now permanently earth-toned.
Didn’t see a single soul out there. Turns out everyone else understands how seasons work.
10/10 would do it again

Monsoooooooooooooooooooon
Love it! I have a cosmic stallion.
Fenders are our friends.
I mean, if this isn’t exactly what the Monsoon was built for, I don’t know what it was built for!
I considered going out today but we have much more ice here and some deeper snow still so I grabbed the hardtail with 2.5″ tires but didn’t get too terribly far. I appreciate your phrasing… “leg-day simulator.”
Preach. I started the morning at 33, but battled LOTS of snow and ice. Then it was 46 and it was mud fest. Same, would ride again.
I got out today also and felt like I was riding in peanut butter. So much snow melt made the trail so mushy it was quite the workout. Still fun
What is going on with that stem/spacer contiguration? That looks bad for absolutely no reason.
