  1. Are you sure that all of those parts belong to the seatpost? Because that looks like you got the seatpost of one style and the wedge/clamp of another style seatpost.

  2. It looks like this clamping parts and bolt do not match your seatpost. You need a two bolt setup with more curved clamps that sit in the seatpost recess.

  3. The guts don’t match the post. Either find the guts that came with the post, the post that came with the guts, or get a new/complete post

    Nah kidda they don’t belong together so you can either drill a hole through the top bit of the seatpost and not be able to adjust the angle of the seat or you can have a mooch around teabay for a cheap secondhand seatpost that’s complete with all the correct bits n bobs
