I got back to the US from Thailand a couple of weeks ago. A few of the highlights of the trip were bicycle tours. On one of the rides, I fell making a tight turn on a narrow cement trail. Fortunately no injuries after falling into the soft grass. Old big bike provided wasn’t so lucky, hit a metal pipe and got wedged between pipe and concrete 😅

I decided on next trip, my bestie P4S is coming along or it ain’t worth going 😁. Next is to figure out *how*.

The intention is to be able to ride off-road and in gravel when necessary with confidence. Installed new tires today and went on a 22 miles evening ride to test on paved road with spots of gravel and dirt. I’m blown away by the change of pace.. it’s like adding a Dr. Scholl’s insert to old shoes with the new Schwalbe Almotion tires. Absorbs the bumps better, more stable and grippy (than the SCU) 😍. The upgrade is $o worth it and much cheaper than a G line (lighter too) 🤩

Next: Replace worn-ish wheels on the adv roller rack and a shipping case/container.

From now on, my ✈️🌏 trips will involve more bike rides 🚲🏝️🥰
