I own a 5 speed T Line with stock tensioner and pulleys, and just changed my chain from oil to wax. While the chain stays much cleaner and performance is solid, I find that with the stock pulleys, the chain noise is much louder when pedaling since the pulleys are plastic.
I'm wondering if anyone has upgraded their pulleys to reduce noise, friction and increase performance?
Looking at https://www.fantastic4toys.com/products/ridea-tensioner-pulley-for-brompton-bicycle-1?_pos=5&_psq=pulley&_ss=e&_v=1.0 since H&H ceramic pulley seems to need the H&H tensioner but wanted to make sure it would be compatible! So far I've seen support for 1-4 speeds, don't think an extra cog would make too much of a difference.
Also open to recs for performance in general! Some things I've been thinking about but open to more. Thanks!
