I posted a while back about a mint-condition Cannondale I had just picked up:

Well… it’s time to reveal what I ended up doing with it.
From the original bike, I kept the Magura brakes and the saddle.
I also managed to find a set of amazing old-school XT wheels, which really set the tone for the build. Everything else is new.

I only had a short ride home so far, but lots of fun!

How much is the RAD?

Those wheels are not going to hold up to my definition of bmx or mtb, however, and I’m an old fucker who never was all that good hahah.
But seriously these are the kinda bikes I love seeing here and that keep me from leaving the sub amid the flood of “iS thIS XbiKing?!?!” shitposts…
