It really is confusing that we don't call ourselves the title of the thing we actually ride. People on motorcycles don't ride bicycles, they are more naturally and appropriately the "cyclists".
With the amount of effort & resources a lot of us put into our setups to save a handful of watts, we would benefit from applying 1/1000th of that same attention to efficiency in our mental lives by not forcing ourselves to circumnavigate our designation every time we speak, write or regard ourselves.
