Hello fellow bicyclers ! I have a huge ABUS lock for my bike but unfortunately the key does not fit my key holder very well. Can I try to trim through the plastic with a cutter ?
maybe you could sand away the bump with coarse sandpaper

1. shame on you for buying Abus due to their shitty political and social crap
2. the key is inside the holder, so who really cares?

Move that ABUS key to the middle where you have the short brass key. Use a file to shape v-brake concave washers into wedge shapes to flatten the taper of the plastic part of the ABUS key to be flat and interface with the surrounding keys better.

Could you store the key separately? Even in the summer when I’m using my bike daily I keep my bike lock keys separate.

Take a heatgun and melt to plastic away from the abus key. Did the same.
Obviously remove and separate the abus key from the rest before pointing a heat gun at it.
