Haven’t had anything other than mountain bikes since I was a kid. Been thinking about getting a bike to cruise around town on. Saw this last weekend and had to buy it. Peugeot Safari. Already have about 30 miles of riding on it and it’s a blast.
Now I just gotta decide how to modify it. Plan to mostly use it around town, grab groceries, beers with friends, things like that. I’m new to this community, but it seems like the place for these bikes. Open to suggestions!
Also, if anyone knows how to date it, I’d love to know. Googling suggested ‘81 based on the serial number (First digit after the ‘Y’ was a 1), but I was able to find some other bikes with the same paint scheme and they indicated ‘91.
