Riding a Honda Goldwing over this part of the Route des Grandes Alpes – a ride every motorcyclist needs to do at least once. At the right time of year it’s an uncrowded delight of spectacular views, hairpins a plenty and pausing points for pleasure and interest. This section (1 of 4) goes from sea level part way up the Tour de france cycle route, with the next video rising further to the Col de la Couillole.
