I'm a noob when it comes to bikes but I'm trying to learn and get my dad's old bike rideable. was making this noise and squeaking, Reddit said to try the chain so I checked wear and replaced, but now this is the result. anyone have any idea what it could be. can take more specific video if needed I'm at a loss

That sounds like a tire rubbing at some point of the frame. Probably out of true wheel or a badly seated tire. Maybe the wheel isn’t properly seated in the dropouts
Try to see if your tire is rubbing against the frame or brake pads
Just before your spoke reflector meets the brake pad is when the noise happens.
I’ll check the tire to see what that section is rubbing against.
Wheel is rubbing the frame
ty everyone tire was out of true and rubbing against frame as suggested. i ended up messing with the spacer and nuts a bit to get it tightened withoutthe slight movement creating that friction. should be a good band aid for now ill probably just get new wheels in the future instead of fixing stock huffy ones from the 90s lol
