Noticed this looseness on my SRAM rival double tap shifter. From my research I believe the shift return spring has gone bad. The shifter itself works but just returns to this loose state.

I’ve seen [shifter rebuild kits](https://ebay.us/m/9Ttevp) online and I’m fairly certain this is what I need- it cones with the return spring, new shift lever, and a few other bits. How hard would this be to do on my own? LBS is backed up for weeks and this would set me back a few days while bikes in the shop. I’ve done all other jobs on my bike – tubeless tire installs, chain/cassette replacements, brake flushes, brake installs, UHD and derailleur cable replacements, etc. I don't think this would be too challenging…

Can I rebuild my shifter?
