So I got a 1997 GT Mach One for a low price and the guy threw in this 1999 GT Vertigo with it for free and it’s got a pretty intricate rainbow pattern. Unfortunately it’s been sitting outside for 3 years, it looked a lot worse before a thorough cleaning. Besides everything else on the bike the frame, fork, bars, post are in decent condition, my question is can the frame be fixed? There are no dents, I’m not really looking to respray and strip the paint I’m looking for a professional to respray and I’m willing to pay for but I want to know your thoughts, if it is worth it and if it can be done at all without completely respraying.
Mostly going to keep this bike so that’s why I’m not too worried throwing some extra money into it. Thanks for looking!
