  1. If you are buying ebikes and selling them, you MUST learn about batteries.
    It is your responsibility to warn potential buyers about the battery on the first bike in this video.
    A battery being left un used for that length of time has likely become dangerous and could potentially be a fire risk.
    Especially if the cells have dropped below a certain voltage being left un used for so long.
    Once cells have been drained past their minimum rated voltage they should be disposed of or forever carefully monitored at all times keeping an eye for any strange behaviour..
    Any strange behaviour from potentially damaged cells i would advise disposing of them.
    If your lucky your pack has a BMS and it should be taking care of idiots with no knowledge on lithium ion batteries.
    BMS should stop the pack from being charged if cells have dropped below a certain voltage.
    So if its not charging after being left for a year or two then thats a clear sign that its damaged.
    But hey who cares i guess just flip it make your sale dont mention it and potentially burn someones house down wiping out an entire family all for a couple of penny's profit.
