Ever since I got a Bridgestone MB-3 at a thrift store, I've been obsessed with old Bridgestones. I've wanted a new road bike for a while and found this frame in my size.
I finished the build and was planning on a short 10 mile ride and was having so much fun I didn't stop going until I was 20 miles from home and started riding back.
This year model of the RB-2 was a bit weird compared to the other RBs in a lot of good ways. It can accept 32mm tires with fenders. Has mounts for a rear rack and only has one lug with the rest of it being tig welded.
I still need to dial it in a bit. My plan is to save up a bit for new rims that can accept the larger tires, maybe use it for some light touring/gravel too. (I rode some sandy trails today and it was pretty miserable on 25mm continental 4 seasons lol but this rim 14mm rim and 25mm tire combo is all I had laying around.)
