Hey all, I was wondering if theres any chance you have some advice on sizing the Endurace AllRoad. I am quite clueless because this will be my first "real" bike. Coming from cheap city cruisers.
I am planning on mostly commuting to work around 15km one way, longers distance rides on weekends and probably most off all using it on a smart trainer at home.
Being slightly over 192cm tall with an 92cm Inseam (90kg if that matters) the sizing chart puts me right at the edge of L and XL. Leaning towards XL.
I was thinking the L might be a bit lighter but the seating position will be more agressive?
Thanks alot in Advance
Cheers

It appears you are looking for bike fitting help. Please make sure you post as screenshot of the Canyon size chart for your bike, with your point in it. See [this example](https://imgur.com/a/ALUfXyy)

The general consensus is that you almost always size down when in doubt. It’s easier to adapt a smaller bike to you size than it is to size a bike that is too big. I was in between S and M and am extremely happy that I chose the S.
I have been telling myself and will be following this rule, when in doubt, go smaller. I was in between sizes, and I chose the bigger one, and I regretted since and should have gone with the smaller size.
Mine is endurace as well. I’m no pro cyclist, but I had to shorten my stem length and get a narrower handlebar. And I doubt the smaller size would be too aggressive, with endurace’s geometry, and all the spacers it comes with, it’s far from aggressive. For your data point, the seat on it is almost level with handlebar height right now since I went size up on it, maybe 1-2cm higher than the handlebar.
Hope this helps
