Education – B.Sc. in Biology with a minor in Environmental Science from George Mason University and Smithsonian Mason School of Conservation, M.Sc. in Global Change Ecology from University of Bayreuth, Germany. Topics of interests – Applied remote sensing and GIS in ecology and biogeography, conservation in the tropics and subtropics, animal movement, biodiversity in agricultural landscapes, grassland ecosystems, data science for the environment and biodiversity conservation. PhD thesis – Impacts of environmental changes through the annual migration cycle of the migratory birds in the Central Asian Flyway.
