More Than Cycling is a documentary film from the sixth edition of Race Through Poland, a self-supported ultra-distance cycling race across the Carpathian Mountains.
The film looks beyond distance and finish times. It focuses on the riders themselves. We hear their short reflections recorded on the route, when the experience is still raw and unfiltered.
A significant part of the film is dedicated to women participating in ultra-distance racing. It explores their motivations, doubts, fatigue, and moments of clarity that emerge deep into a long, self-supported ride. Their perspectives add another layer to the story, showing how ultra racing is perceived, experienced, and challenged from different points of view.
More Than Cycling is a film celebrating the ultra-cycling community, and we hope it will become a spark for those who are about to enter this fascinating world.
