Uneven wear on my brake pads

I'm getting a lot of noise from my front brakes recently when coming to a complete stop. After a lot of investigating it looks like my pads are wearing unevenly when contacting the rotor. I did a thorough decontamination before testing, and the pads pictured were brand new. I took them out to bed them in so 20-30 controlled slowdowns, but still resulting in squealing by the end

Does anyone know what might be the cause of this? Seems to not be contacting in the very centre, outer edges seem fine but are possibly overheating from the small area

Using Shimano R8070 brake calipers, and Ultegra rotors
