  1. I could see that preventing the pawls from retracting far enough for your freehub body to actually spin freely. Have you tested its functionality yet?

    Dude, that’s a Hope Hub right? They are probably the easiest brand to find spares for. Literally give them a call and tell them what hub you have and they’ll be able to find you the parts.

    If it’s in there solid, slap some grease on it and send it, worst case you pull it back apart 🤷‍♂️ best case you’re dead proud of your Jerry rig

    It might work for a minute but it’ll soften with the grease and become useless pretty quick.

    Green seal tells me it’s a Hope hub?

    I would just remove those two pawls that are missing springs and run it on two pawls only for the week or so it takes for the new pawl set that you have surely already ordered from the Internet to arrive in your mailbox.

    Edit: wait I just read you made it from a beer can. In which case yeah it’ll probably work for a while 😅 But seriously just order the pawls/springs online.
