Following my neo-retro bike, I’d like to introduce my gravel bike. Naturally, it’s also made of steel, but this time featuring disc brakes instead of rim brakes. I bought the frame second-hand and built it up using parts from my spares bin; I didn’t have to buy any new parts except for the handlebar tape and the cables. After about 5,000 km, I can say I really enjoy riding it and I'm very happy with the result.
The only thing I don't like is the external cable routing for the derailleur on the top tube, because the shifting stops working properly when I use a frame bag. That’s why I decided to run a continuous outer housing, even if it looks a bit like a 'hack' with the adapters. What are your thoughts on this?

There are many like this, but this one is mine
Swisscross will always be a beautiful bike even if you run it over with a tank. Nice clean build with an epic backdrop!
I’m amazed at how light this bike is. My brother has one – beautiful machine.

That red is such nice shade 👌
Also, is that Swiss Cross in Swiss Alps? 😎
May I ask where in Switzerland is that? Looks like Alpstein, already looking fotward to being back in those mountains soon

Steel – always deserves likes!
