Trying to repair a spoke on my trek stache 7, as it popped out, it doesn’t seem to seat well putting it back in, I assume because it’s missing the plug that’s present on the other spokes, does anyone know how to find replacement plugs or what they are called?

no repair, replace only.
That’s the head of the spoke thay broke off, its not a separate piece. The whole spoke needs to be replaced.
The spoke is broken. Take it to a shop so they can measure it and get you a replacement in the exact same length and gauge (thickness). That said, you’ll likely need to have the wheel re-trued, which can be a difficult task for a beginner with bike maintenance. A shop will be able to remove the old spoke nipple, install the new spoke, and retrue the wheel for you.
