Want to ride a bike in the Netherlands? Learn the rules!
[Ep. 1098] If you want to ride a bicycle in The Netherlands it would be good if you know at least the basics of the priority rules, traffic signs and regulations. In this video a short look into those.

There's a place in Poznań, Poland similar to 0:12 but the drivers don't understand that it is not a bicycle crossing working like a pedestrian zebra crossing and they always yield to me. There is a zebra crossing next to it tho so that might be the source of confusion.
2:02 It's not good that it's a word instead of a symbol. If it's not mandatory, then a blue square with a white bicycle would be a nice design similar to the 'recommended speed' signs some countries use.
One important thing is that when it's late some junctions flashing yellow and then everyone follows the painted priority sign on the road instead of the light. This is very different from the one in USA where blinking red or yellow light works as a 4 way stop sign

You did omit how cycle paths are marked, because they may be uni-directional or bi-directional.
