First order of business.. take off the shifters and crankset and slap them on a different bike because I run a never ending Ponzi scheme of stealing parts off newly acquired old bikes to make the earlier bike projects whole..

The fork w/ the mid-blade rack mounts seals the deal, but that Exage crankset & I assume thumb shifters were not exactly top-tier components in the late 80s & early 90s

That’s a junk bike to most people. But I grew up with Mongoose so I would’ve snatched that as well.
