Paris Metro is one of the most iconic metro systems in the world – and in this video I explore it riding both older and modern trains across different lines and neighborhoods. From deep central stations to elevated sections above the streets, the video shows how the Paris metro network weaves through dense districts of the capital of France. Along the way, we pass through major interchanges and well-known stations, see classic steel-wheel rolling stock and rubber-tired trains with their characteristic acceleration sounds, and follow the metro as it connects with RER, mainline rail and trams.
