Thin & flexible sidewall compared to prior versions of Marathon tires I’ve owned. I’m hoping that this will make them feel more supple for a more comfortable ride. Note the red lining is Tannus Armour tire inserts for added puncture protection.
I like how visible the tire information is on the sidewall. I don’t have the best eyes anymore for reading, so this is great!
Only did one trip slowly around the block. You can see the portion of the tire making contact with the surface. The overlapping treads made it feel very smooth and comfortable. I didn’t feel any vibrations at all.
The next test will be getting some mileage on them & cornering. I’m also curious how they will fare in wet conditions.
