Hey, thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
I am looking at getting back into bike commuting for work/gym/groceries, and am looking something cheap, reliable, lightweight (walkup building), and has the ability to have a rack. My commute is either over the Brooklyn or Manhattan bridge and on to Bryant park.
Is this a good bike and at that price point for what I need?
If there is a better bike/price point, would love to hear suggestions. Thanks again

Couple things… First, I would recommend a bike with gears. So, lets just get that out of the way.
Second of all, I’ve never seen a Technium in person that wasn’t bent. On most of these Techniums, the main triangle is aluminum. What I’ve seen on these, is bulging on the bottom of the frame on the downtube near the head tube. This indicates a front end collision. Now, a lot of bikes can tank a crash like that, but not this bike. And again, I’ve only ever seen bent Techniums.
How much is this bike worth? $200-300 max. But again, I’d recommend something with gears.
