. After almost 20 years, I bought another bike and swapped over all the parts from my Windsor. The ride is noticeably different and the weight difference is obvious – took a 30 mile ride.

I never felt like I needed a second bike. The old bike has seen a few crashes and years of working duty, but it’s still straight. No alignment issues.

Found this Gunnar on sale for $200 and couldn’t pass it up. I’m excited for this build, and so far it’s been great.

Here is the parts list for those who are into that stuff:

  • Fork: Wound Up
  • Wheelset: Velocity Deep V laced to Phil Wood (plus Phil Wood cog + lockring)
  • Drivetrain: Sugino 75 crankset, Sugino Zen chainring, Izumi Super V chain, Phil Wood bottom bracket
  • Cockpit: Nitto B123 drop bars, Thomson X2 stem
  • Headset: Currently running FSA Orbit X (swapping it for Chris King when the tool comes)
  • Saddle/Seatpost: San Marco Concor Supercorsa saddle, Thomson setback seatpost, Thomson seat collar

  1. Hey neat bike.
Can I ask what is the frame size and what is your height?

I always liked how track bikes look when they are in the smaller size, but I can’t get it right for myself.

Also, don’t you have massive toe overlap?
