Hi everyone,
I have a Merida Reacto 4000, but it has the frame of the Reacto 8000, and I’m a bit concerned about the rear triangle, specifically the chainstays.
When looking at the bike from above, from the rear, it looks like the chainstays are not perfectly symmetrical, with the drive side appearing slightly more “open” than the other side
Are the chainstays on the Merida Reacto frame designed to be fully symmetrical, or is there any intentional asymmetry?

Yeah, it’s normal. If you look by the bottom bracket, the drive side chainstay is narrower to allow for chainring clearance then flares out slightly more.
