  1. Find a suspension shop to rebuild it. I know the ones near me accept shocks in the mail and just send them back. Very easy to remove and reinstall

That is a fox float, there are many many shops who can rebuild this for you. Call your local bike shop to see who they use.

This is not a big deal, I wear out the seals in my fox clip shock twice a year, and have to get rebuilt. It’s just a normal maintained thing.

  3. If you can’t afford 200 to send it off for repairs your best option is pay 50 for a fabricator to make a steel rod to swap the shock with to turn into a sketchy hard tail or sell the bike to someone who can afford to fix the shock and find a cheaper sport to do

I hear darts had a pretty low financial barrier to entry, or barefoot trail running, or bird watching

What are you talking about rare???? Just look for a metric 190x45mm shock if you’re not looking to rebuild it.
