Strava says I've got 4700 miles on this 700×40 pair, picture is of the rear. Of course front looks much better. I was used to getting about 2000 miles out of the GK SKs so when the miles on these keep going up without a single plug or issue I can't tell what to do. Today I ordered a new one for the rear but unless someone says otherwise I'm waiting till 5k. Thoughts?
These tires are used on tarmac, rough single track and everything in-between.

It’ll ride even better on the road. It reminds me of Specialized tires.
I mean that fine tread isn’t meant to be a wear indicator is it? Makes me want to inquire with the brand. (I have the same tires)
Have the same tire and size. Less than 500 miles on the pair. No issues. Hope to get the same mileage you have.
Good for you. When you get the new one I think you’ll be surprised at how wore this is. Personally I would not push my luck but if you have that many trouble free miles it would be fun to see how far you can take it.
My blue ones started getting tons of flats after about 1500 miles. They were pretty thin when I took them off…Got a set of ss+ on a dedicated gravel wheelset and got a set of gp5000 for the road, went tubeless on both, and I feel like I’m good for years now. Really loved these tires
These are the best f tires I’ve ever had
Lucky! I also only got about 2k miles out of my last 2 sets of GKs, which is why I’m exploring different, more durable tires now. They’re great tires, but needing 3 sets of >$50 tires for one season is insane.
