So I went to take my front wheel off and my thru axle took ALL of my might to get out. I could easily rotate it with the Allen key but once I was trying to extract it the rest of the way, it did not want to budge. I’m scared to put it back in lol and I know that wd40 is foe not friend, but what should I use to lubricate it so I can get it in more easily? Any advice very welcome!!!

That’s an interesting problem. Try twisting the thru axle as you pull and don’t apply any pressure to the wheel as you do.
Also, see if you can slide something through the other side to push the axle out.
Wd40 should help in the is case, just avoid getting any lubricants on your rotor.
It’s tricky to explain, but likely your front wheel was loading the axle as soon as it became misaligned, causing it to bind. If you try to hold the wheel straight as if the axle was going back in, it should pull out easier.
Back the axle out again. Give the wheel a gentle wiggle while turning the axle and applying gentle pressure into through the wrench. The threads should line up and spin easily. If there’s any binding back off and try again.
