Could be as new as early 2000’s. I’m not an expert on this brand, but the bike shop I worked at from 2002-04 sold these to plants and factories. They are pretty heave but pretty bomb proof.

Looks like a Worksman M2600. They’re still in production, but have been for a long time. If nobody here has an answer I’m sure you could reach out to Worksman directly.

Headbadge tells me it’s a 2000s bike because website included.

Shoot your shot, man. Who am I to judge?
Besides, what’s the worst that could happen?
She’s cute, tho.

Not sure but that thing looks fun as hell… anyone that owns more than 1 bike needs a single speed, and a coaster klunker is a shockingly fun and capable bike.

Generally a nice meal but something not messy (who wants wing sauce on their faces and hands for the first date?) and for some reason even though both of these pop up as suggestions I’d avoid swimming or going to the movies for the first few.

Maybe just ask her out for coffee

It has a unicrown fork which makes it “newer”. I’m not sure that there is any way to figure out the date from the serial number on a Worksman like you can on some bikes.

If you love it, lube it

It looks like she been around the block a few times, but maybe you can change her…
Wear protection and don’t forget lube.

Do an outside hiking date with a picnic , avoid dinner and a movie, probably have to sit in the wheelchair spot which is 100% cool. You wanna try to get to know each other to see you build a connection for a second date. You’re welcome

CU Boulder’s Buff Bikes purchased “a brand new fleet” from Worksman in [spring 2009](https://web.archive.org/web/20090530101931/https://ecenter.colorado.edu/transportation/buffbikes.html). “Sixty new Buff Bikes are ready for students, faculty and staff to rent. The bikes are single speed cruiser bikes with coaster brakes perfect for riding around campus, riding to lunch or attending an off-campus work meeting.” Worksman’s post-GFC pivot to campus bikes was [covered in the NYT](https://archive.nytimes.com/cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/27/sharing-a-ride-before-sharing-their-bikes/) by a guy who ended up winning a Pulitzer last year!
Tell ‘er she has a nice set of handlebars!
