Sheffield will see the Tour de France Femmes arrive here in 2027.
Many of Sheffield’s cycling community were at the Town Hall to hear the news.
It was marked with a “Tour de Skies” moment. All ove rthe country host cities shone a yellow beam into the sky to mark their involvement.
It comes after the Tour de France also passed through Sheffield in 2014.
