So, I got these favorite grips, Yeti made by ODI. They're supple, soft and chunky. I really like using them, they're comfortable for my big hands. Now, question for the brain trust here, what other options are there with these characteristics? I know ODI still make these, but I need alternatives, mainly cheaper ones. Open to suggestions.

Edit: By the way, if someone knows of Neon yellow grips, I'm also open for suggestions.

  1. I recommend ESI chunky to everyone who will listen. Super soft & supple. They do not last as long as a typical lock on rubber grip but they normally run $18 at my lbs’s.

  2. I have big hands and arthritis in my fingers, ESI Chunky and Ergon grips (the big ones) have both worked well for me

Wolf tooth makes some that are similar to ESI but even thicker still but they’re pricey and I haven’t tried them yet.

The radavist did a pretty good roundup of large grips

  3. Not the “best” but certainly worth mentioning the lock-on Funn Hilt grips for $15 (used to be $10) on Amazon. Come in a bazillion colors too. Not affiliated just someone who buys too many parts.

OURY grips! a bit thicker than most, super soft texture, incredibly cool color options, slightly retro style.

note: the OURY “lock-on” grips are less soft. the “mountain” grips have a fun sidewall but it can be annoying to some hands or setups. the “v2” grips are the same but have no sidewall at the bar end: convenient for more options when you need an open-ended grip.
