Was sideswiped by a car and thankfully missed my body. It did hit the rear frame on a single point. The wheel is surprisingly still centered when on. Just wondering if it’s a liability to keep riding and/or more trouble than it’s worth to find a shop that would fix it. Already restored a replacement bike but would like to know if this is a toss. She’s a beautiful vintage Peugeot that would be hard to part with.

I would try and bend it back.
If the frame seems to be sturdy, I would ride it and keep my eyes open. But I would be very careful.
Yes, I’d say that one’s done!
Steel or alloy frame?
It’s a steel frame and I don’t see any hard kinks in the tubing, so it may be possible to bend it back straight and still be rideable. May not be an that easy, though.
I’d totally take that by my local bike shop and get them to bend it back – the beauty of steel!
you can take it to some kind of pro steel tube shop or some kind of shtuff

Basically yes. It’s repairable, but the skills and tools to repair it are in short supply these days, and most shops who can do it would charge you more than you’d pay for another decent old steel frame. Ask around though, and you might get lucky.
If you want to try to do it yourself, that might be a fun project.
Steel? Most likely fine, especially if you haven’t had to bend it back
Steel is real. The right person can fix it and they may be at your local co-op
It’s a steel frame so it’s savable. However, you are looking at paying $$ to get it fixed by a bike shop. Worth it if it’s a rare frame or it has sentimental value to you.
