Hi everyone, I found this bike today in a metal scrap container at a local waste yard. I asked the employees if I could take it to save it, and they let me have it. I haven't had time to wash it yet, but it looks nice and worth saving. What do you think?

High end. Definitely a keeper. Clean it up. Ride the H out of it. Those who know will stop, lean over and give a good look when you’re at a coffee shop. If you’re looking for rubber brake hoods, SOMA makes good replicas. Vaucher, a little known boutique brand. Not a grail. But I’d love to have one in my collection. You did good. You saved a princess.
Never heard of the brand, but that is clearly a pretty high- end bike from probably the late seventies, early 80’s? Great score and well worth fixing up.
L’eroica ready.
Check spokes, put an unicanitor saddle and you good to go.
A little-known company, probably from Switzerland, but its equipment is top-notch for profi race all over the world on that time, CAMAPGNOLO NUOVO RECORD from aerly 70, except MAVIC brakes … look for mor detals and prices on Ebay of components, Bike is in very good condition. See price on site VINTAGE STEEL road bikes … you lucky one
Clearly a high quality bike. Great save!
If the seat is adjusted for the rider than frame is too big. The bike deserves a complete overhaul, clean, repack and adjust the beatings, replace the cables, replace the bar tape, check frame alignment and correct as needed, check chain line and correct as needed, adjust derailleurs and brakes. It looks like it has sew ups. I found them to be a pain. Consider lacing clincher rims on the Campy hubs. With all of the Campy parts, the brakes are mismatched. Consider replacing the brakes and levers with Campy. The pedals need toe clips.
It looks to have a long wheelbase and slack seat and head tubes. If so it should be stable and comfortable.
