Hard to tell from the picture, you should show us the underside. The stretch level is usually told by looking at how far the tightening bolt has gone.

Normally once the leather has stretched it doesn´t shrink back. If the tightening bolt still shows that there is some room for more stretching I´d say use is as is.

Give it some Brooks cream and let it sit overnight, then wipe the excess with a cloth. Adjust the bolt it so it not too tight (typical mistake). It should be a bit loose but shouldn´t let your butt touch the rails and top of the seatpost while sitting on it.

If the adjustment bolt reaches the limit there are two options:

    – Get a new piece of leather, either from Brooks or Aliexpress. You also need new copper rivets (also Brooks or aliexpress)

    – Reuse the original leather by unscrewing the tightening bolt all the way and drill new holes to the leather at the nose end. You´d need three new rivets. Remove the old ones with a drill bit (copper is very soft, easy job) and punch the new rivets. Then do something to the excess leather, cut, soak and shape, stitch etc.

Ps the nose cone rivets look copper but the back ones steel ? May mean it’s been restored once already !
