I am having issues with my Grail since it has play with both Wahoo kickr core and Tacx Flux 2. It also happens on my Ridley Noah Fast 3.0.

Completely new Wahoo kickr core and completely new UDH. Thru-axle is the original and it is tighten around 15-20 nm. The adapter is for Shimano HG on the drive-side. The adapter is for 142mm on the non-driving side. Also tried with the Wahoo kickr core adapter kit. Everything is tighten and have been following the guide. I am sure that the play is from the thru-axel/hometrainer/adapters.

Canyon are not able to help and neither is Wahoo…

So just wanted to know if other have experienced the same and what hometrainer you would recommend.

  1. Honestly you’re better off getting a cheap steel frame with similar geometry or a zwift ride. Not a fan of riding a carbon bike on a trainer – always feels like I’m going to crack it when pushing.
