I just bought a new Cervelo S5, without wheels. The wheels I have use the skewer quick release, but the frame supports a proper axel.
Is there an easy way to upgrade my wheels to accept the new axel or do I need to purchase new wheels?

There are a small number of hubs made for thruaxle that allow you to use both types by swapping end caps on the wheel but the majority of time it’s new wheel day.
Yeah the easiest is to buy a new wheelset with a Through Axle 12mm hub. If you have a friend who can build wheels you could get cheaper if he builds your wheel with new hubs and your current rim. But idk if its worth it. At least in my country lots of good deals on used wheelsets because they get swapped out a lot.
