Why we moved to France had several reasons. In this video we tell all our reasons while in the meantime we make the cupboard in the kitchen more cozy with brocante.

In august 2022 our family left everything behind and moved to France – not knowing where we would end up. Finally, after a difficult search, we found our home: a neglected old farmhouse. This is our story after living one year in France.
Renovating and restoring our old farmhouse, the old barns and the garden and land will take years. But in the end, it’s about the journey and not the end destination. After all, you should always have something to dream about. Right?
Perhaps our life story will also inspire you to pursue your dreams, whatever they may be. Join us on this extraordinary adventure, where dreams become reality, and possibilities are endless.

Loved this. You should have a link to your wallpaper!
Thank you for sharing your journey guys, it is inspirational and very interesting to see how you guys are making a new life.👍❤
My spouse and I have been married for 46 years. But for most of them we (well mostly me..haha!) had a dream to own property in the country. Finally in 2019 we found our dream property (it looks like it's in France but it's actually right here in the U.S.) We sold our other home in mid February, right before the stupid covid-19 lockdowns were to come in March! As self-employed people, our business too was in danger of falling apart because it involves doing work in homes, schools, churches and other public buildings….all closed. However, God is good and we came through it just fine! We just celebrated the start of 35 years in our business and it continues to grow!
You are right! Just go out and do it, follow your dreams….even if that dream takes a little longer than initially hoped for. For us it took 42 years before we found our dream home….but have been living happily in it since we finished the renovation of it and the rejuvenation of the 2 acres complete with a vineyard and orchard.
Hooray for you making your French lifestyle and home a reality! 🥰🥰
Keep doing the videos. They are lots of work, but your audience will grow!
You are incredible creative… you will exceed in anything creative you do…
Beautiful place
“Just do it” should men so much more to people since covid! So pleased you did as I enjoy following your dream ❤
An enjoyable video, very peaceful watching the brocante being placed too 😀
Love your videos and love your style …
Lovely story about your journey. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful treasures. I sometimes dream of living in France but now we just have lovely long holidays there each summer which somewhat satiates that dream. Not quite but almost. I applaud your ‘just do it’ attitude.
I so enjoyed hearing your story and seeing your treasures! Watching from Tasmania 😊
really enjoy your videos as we cannot get to our house yet .I love styling as well and watching you place everything so carefully x
Veel succes met jullie nieuwe leven in Frankrijk😀💪
Great to catch up with your Reno and life in general. You are doing so well. Hope your children are enjoying it all too❤❤👏👏👏👏
Nice to ear why you decided to come and live in France. Hope it is not too difficult because French is a difficult language to learn (grammar). If you need any help with papers and administration don't hesitate to ask. Really like your decoration,, specially all the deco in the cupboard. Brocante is a magic world in France , there are a lot everywhere near where you live in 47.😊😊😊💯💯💯 You could open your own brocante , you have a good eye.
This is a wonderfully done video of your story of this journey 😊
We love your story. Thanks for taking the leap. I am sure it will inspire many to take the leap!
Contente de vous suivre, bonne continuation
Goid afternoon, I am not sure why but your latest video didn't appear in my latest video list. Strange that. Alan xx
Currently in process myself. But partner has doubts. Just wish she seen what i seen
Hello, thank you for this interesting video. I live in France and it's a very beautiful country with a lot of positive things, with it's problems though (like everywhere). For example homeschooling has recently been virtually banned, while I think it's a great educational alternative.
Ce n'est pas facile de quitter son pays, sa famille. Il faut une bonne dose de courage et de volonté.
J’espère que vous vous plairez en France !
I really enjoyed how you created a space, while telling your story 🌱⚘
Oh I loved everything about this video! So many treasures in that cabinet! And I actually own a couple of your enjoy brocante magazines! Keep up the good work!
wonderful that you did it!! it will be a beautiful house. where can I see your magazines? cheers from Berlin
What a lovely story of your move to France. Yes, sometimes we dream of things and never follow through then have regrets. I guess during the Pandemic it really brought these subjects out in families that life is short and yes, you only live once so why not. With your decision it worked out brilliantly
